Bad Boys 4 Films in Brickell MIAMI

Miami is vibrant. Miami is International. Miami is a destination for people and for media production too.

On February 28, I was in the Brickell area of Miami for a meeting. Outside, Brickell Avenue was abuzz with the filming of Bad Boys 4, starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.

The first “Bad Boys” movie came out in 1995 and was a smash hit. The upcoming sequel is scheduled for release on June 14.

Having been in NYC for many years, I was impressed how the Miami Police Department handled the filming. What was billed as a potential traffic nightmare was a minor slow down so people could gawk. No, that isn’t a real news van. It is part of the movie production.

The residents didn’t seem to mind the extra hassle around lunchtime. They were respectful of the crew directions to stay on the other side of the street and got a treat of seeing Smith and Lawrence working on their lines just behind the black Porsche which apparently is featured in the film.
