Comic Cure - Laughter for a Cause

In this day and age, it’s better to laugh at life than to cry. And thankfully, there is a great way to do that.

On a beautiful evening in late April, Palmetto Bay hosted Comic Cure’s second annual comedy night at Thalatta Estate. About 100 people were treated to the comic stylings of headliner Dana Eagle who was a stand-out on NBC’s Last Comic Standing.

Her other appearances include, The Late, Late Show, Comedy Central, and Comics Unleashed, where she became a contributing writer.

In addition to the Palmetto Bay show, Comic Cure hosted its Florida’s Funniest Female competition in Coconut Grove and also performed at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. There are future South Florida shows in the works.
