Troop 457 Eagle Scout Project Beautifies St. Richard’s Church

On Saturday, February 4th, Tyler Regalado and about 40 members of Boy Scouts Troop 457 rolled up their sleeves and got to work on the grounds of Holy Rosary Saint Richard’s Church on SW 152 Street in Palmetto Bay.

“My Eagle Scout project was to mulch the entire front of the church and beautify the meditation garden in back,” explained Regalado. “We’re working hard and I’m happy to be doing this along with my fellow troop members.”

Regalado, a 16-year old student at New World School of the Arts and parishioner at St. Richards, is a regular Sunday churchgoer and reflects, “Besides helping the community, I think we’re helping make the church more beautiful than it already is.”
