Palmetto Baystock 2016
/Eight years ago, Florida Rock Stars (a marketing through music company) had a simple idea. “We want to keep live rock music alive and affordable,” explains Richard DiBenedetto. His partner, Mickey Filippucci, adds, “We’ve seen it all and salute our audiences who help us keep true to our word.” Over those years, the duo has produced nearly two dozen music festivals, most of which take place in Palmetto Bay.
On November 12, Florida Rock Stars will prove once again that they know how to rock-and-roll when they present Palmetto Baystock. Partnered with the Village of Palmetto Bay, attendees will hear five amazing bands, including a world-class progressive rock band named the Dave Kerzner Band. Also performing is local favorite Cutler Stew, Big Rock Band, Limerock and former Tobacco Road headliner band, Oski Foundation.
The show promises to deliver a special night of entertainment, with national radio celebrity Doc Reno (locally on BIG 105.9 FM) playing the role of Master of Ceremonies!
The festival also showcases some of the best food around, including amazing fresh stone crabs, killer barbecue and loads of other tasty foods served up by local gourmet restaurateurs. A host of merchandise vendors and the cash bar with rock star quality drinks, photo booth and VIP Rock Lounge round out the festival experience. The event includes a special raffle for a $6,000 custom-built golf cart to help raise money for local charity partner, Parker-Haar Charities.
The VIP Backstage Pass includes front row VIP table seating as well as access to the VIP Rock Lounge, an air-conditioned clubhouse and bathrooms located above the stage with live video remote of the event. VIP guests have access to a private cash liquor bar, delicious finger food served up by Heifers and Hogs BBQ Co. – Wood-Fire Catering (owned by a Palmetto Bay resident) and balcony view overlooking the show. Mingle with the bands, get autographs and photo ops and live like a rock star!
Come on out to Ludovici Park (behind the public library) at 17641 Old Cutler Road on November 12. Gates open at 2:30 pm and the show runs from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm – no coolers or animals permitted, rain or shine. Lounge chairs and blankets are welcome.
