Palmetto Bay's 2nd Annual "Holiday by the Bay"
/Last year's rainy event should be quite jealous. On a b-e-a-u-t-f-u-l sunny South Florida day, the Village of Palmetto Bay treated residents to a fun holiday festival.
Among those pitching in was Vice Mayor Brian Pariser. It seemed like the entire Village and Park Department staff was on hand to entertain and enjoy the season.
As usual, the kids had the most fun. Here is my son playing the role of a hampster. Nothing like soapy suds and a transparent blow up bubble...
The bumper cars attracted all age groups. Where else can you exact your holiday road rage with such fun?
Moreover, the Village of Palmetto Bay once again proves they can really stand out when it comes to providing fun, safe activities for its residents.
I didn't stick around to see Santa's arrival, but Karen of All Star Event Photography was ready to snap the faces of all the little ones.
Besides food, crafts and live musical performances (see below), the Village brought in Boardwalk style rides, attractions and activities. Quite the afternoon of fun...

For my friends from parts North, I ask you, "Why aren't you living in South Florida?" Give me a call when you are ready to thaw out and have some fun in the Florida sun.
