Thalatta Park in Palmetto Bay

A few months ago, I wrote about a brand new park that opened to the public in February 2011.  Thalatta Estate Park is a beautiful spot for quiet walks and to gaze upon beautiful Biscayne Bay.  It is also an amazing venue for special events.

Thalatta Estate Park has quickly become a destination for tourists and people with something to celebrate (wedding, bar mitzvah, etc.).  A dedicated website for people to visit and find out more launched just this week.

And it just keeps getting better...  The Village Council has budgeted to restore the Thalatta Estate building over the next year to allow for improvements in catering, air conditioning and rain coverage during inclimate weather.
